SimCity E3 Gameplay trailer

A closer look into the new SimCity gameplay, presented at the E3 today.
Yes there will also be a Social version for Facebook, but no one in the community really feels like talking about it. That is what happens when business overpowers creativity. Oh, we don't care about traffic leaving the site. We do have some dignity!
Back to the actual SimCity, we can't just blindly say "Oh! It looks awesome!". SimCity 4 to be honest has more realistic graphics. While graphics is not the reason why we play SimCity, everything looks cartoonish, simplistic and "zynga-like". Those aren't graphics you find in The Sims 2 or SimCity 4 under Will Wright's eye. These are Electronic Arts mainstream maneuvers. Not the original Maxis in any case.
Okay, but there are many great stuff, from the curvy roads and cool zoning tools, to the agent-based simulation that makes everything wonderfully look solid and real (all these Sims in the streets live and work somewhere! They aren't just dummy objects moving around!).
Bottom line, I think we will be able to judge this better when we see actual gameplay of the game. How the GUI looks like. The usability of the tools. If that works good, we've got a game here.
Stay tuned for more updates on the actual gameplay of the game! Where? You know where! At SimNation of course.
Comment!
Is this actual footage of the gameplay or not? What do you think?
